On the 10th and 11st July 2024, the TRIĒRĒS project consortium and its partners gathered at the Green Energy Center Europe in Innsbruck, Austria for the WIVA P&G HyWest Hydrogen Valley Workshop and the 1st General Assembly.
The workshop was hosted by FEN Research GmbH, who presented the national green hydrogen valley HyWest regarding green hydrogen production, storage, logistics and use in industry and heavy-duty transport mobility. FEN Research showcased a complete hydrogen value chain by presenting their national and European projects. Among these projects, HySelect and MOST-H2 were presented using roll-ups, posters and leaflets.
Insightful presentations were delivered by Ernst Fleischhacker, Nikolaus Fleischhacker, Niusha Shakibi Nia from FEN Research, Magdalena Lindl from Hydrogen Partnership Austria and Margherita Matzer from WIVA P&G. Many significant subjects were raised during the meeting. In total a range of important topics were covered, including the project’s progress, challenges, implementation matters, regulatory framework and future steps in hydrogen applications.
This workshop was complemented by a visit to the MPREIS Hydrogen project as part of the regional HyWest hydrogen valley in Tyrol.
The TRIERES project consortium also had the opportunity to experience hydrogen mobility at first hand by driving a NEXO FCE hydrogen car from Hyundai, a Codex partner of the Green Energy Center Europe.
