TRIĒRĒS at the European Hydrogen Valleys Days 2026 in Antwerp

TRIERES participated in the 3rd edition of the European Hydrogen Valleys Days, organised by the Clean Hydrogen Partnership, which took place from 4–8 May 2026 at the iconic Port House of the Port of Antwerp-Bruges in Antwerp, Belgium.

Representing the project coordination team, Konstantinos Chatzifotis and Fani Panagopoulou actively engaged with key stakeholders from across the European hydrogen ecosystem, contributing to discussions focused on the future development and implementation of Hydrogen Valleys across Europe.

The event brought together policymakers, industry leaders, project coordinators, investors, and regional stakeholders to exchange experiences, align priorities, and accelerate the deployment of clean hydrogen solutions.

Dedicated Hydrogen Valley workshop – 4 May 2026

During the first day, TRIERES participated in a dedicated workshop gathering Hydrogen Valley projects supported by the Clean Hydrogen Partnership. Discussions focused particularly on the evolving hydrogen market and offtake mechanisms, offering an excellent opportunity for knowledge exchange, collaboration building, and sharing implementation experiences among projects.

European Clean Hydrogen Alliance Forum – 5 May 2026

On the second day, the TRIERES team joined the European Clean Hydrogen Alliance Forum, organised by the European Commission. The forum highlighted the importance of aligning project pipelines with industrial needs, market uptake strategies, and investment perspectives to strengthen Europe’s hydrogen economy.

TRIĒRĒS represented in expert panel discussion – 6 May 2026

A key highlight of the event was the participation of TRIERES Project Coordinator, Konstantinos Chatzifotis, in the panel discussion:

“Making Hydrogen Valleys happen – Connecting Valley practitioners, policymakers and investors.”

The panel provided valuable insights into the practical challenges and opportunities associated with implementing Hydrogen Valleys, while emphasising the importance of collaboration between regional actors, industry, policymakers, and investors to accelerate the hydrogen transition.

Participation in the Hydrogen Valleys Days 2026 further reinforced TRIERES’ commitment to supporting the development of integrated hydrogen ecosystems and contributing to Europe’s clean energy transition through innovation, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
