The first Aragon Hydrogen Week (SH2A – Semana del Hidrógeno Aragón) was organised by the Aragon Hydrogen Foundation in collaboration with the Government of Aragon, in Zaragoza, Spain, March 10th-14th.
In the frame of the Hydrogen Territories Platform (HTP) Tool Launch, the European Hydrogen Valleys Session covered the ‘Hydrogen Valley co-funding schemes’ panel, in which Konstantinos I. Chatzifotis, EU Affairs Manager of Motor Oil Group, presented TRIĒRĒS, Greece’s pioneering Hydrogen Valley, driving the country’s hydrogen transition.
- Multi-source funding strategy: Combining EU, national, and private investments to scale up hydrogen production, refueling infrastructure, mobility, energy and industrial applications.
- Key projects: TRIĒRĒS, EPHYRA (Clean Hydrogen Partnership), Green H2 (RRF), REA, REAH2, REAH3 – HRS network (CEF-T), IRIS CCUS (Innovation Fund – Large Scale).
- Collaboration & growth: Partnering across Europe (HEAVENN (Netherlands) and WIVA P&G HyWest Austria)), as well as emerging regions like Cyprus & Egypt, to create inter-regional hydrogen corridors.
