In March 13th-14th, Giouli Kommata, Marketing & Quality Control Manager and Dimitris Spyrou, Consultant (MSc) at Marketing & Quality Control department, at Piraeus Port Authority-PPA/OLP-COSCO Shipping took the stage at the 2nd Annual Excellence in Green Hydrogen Production & Operations Forum in Berlin to discuss the challenges and opportunities of hydrogen integration at Piraeus Port.
The presentation, “Challenges for Hydrogen at Piraeus Port,” explored:
- The implementation of TRIĒRĒS project for hydrogen-powered port operations
- A technical deep dive into the TRIĒRĒS pilot project at the Port of Piraeus
- Key challenges for hydrogen adoption in maritime logistics
Hydrogen is paving the way for a greener maritime industry, and Piraeus Port is at the forefront of this transformation. Exciting discussions took place on how ports can lead the energy transition, and PPA was proud to contribute its vision and expertise.
