Dec 6, 2024 | Trieres, Training Programme

On December 3rd-4th, the TRIĒRĒS project participated in the dynamic “24h of Innovation” event at the University of Western Macedonia in Kozani. The challenge was organized simultaneously in 3 EU cities: Kozani (Greece), Bilbao (Spain) and Jyväskylä (Finland).

This initiative is part of the project TEAMIT+, co-funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ program (GA No 101111560) that bridges education, sustainability and entrepreneurship, empowering future innovators.

During the event, young students and professionals aged 18-30, from diverse backgrounds, teamed up to tackle real-world problems and sustainability challenges posed by companies, combining innovation and entrepreneurship. Within just 24 hours, they developed innovative ideas and presented them in a 3-minute pitch to a jury of professionals and experts. The most original ideas were awarded prizes!

TRIĒRĒS project posed the challenge of developing a comprehensive communication strategy to address awareness raising of local communities towards the introduction of the new technology of hydrogen in their lives. An enthousiastic and creative team of 8 young people, coached by Vasiliki Panaretou, Technical Expert in EU Affairs Directorate of Motor Oil group, worked diligently and delivered a professional communication package using smart tools, gamification and AI solutions to reach diverse society audiences.
